X-Socks Speed Metal Energizer Socks: This new addition combines the proven benefits of our highly successful and increasingly popular Run Energizer with the cooling properties of Speed Metal. The revolutionary X-SOCKS® compression socks for runners make use of the newly developed XITANIT™ yarn. This feels cool as soon as you slip the socks on. The high conductivity of XITANIT™ ducts the generated foot heat to the outside, using the same principle as a silver spoon in a cup of hot tea. The additional ability of XITANIT™ to reflect externally radiated heat away means that the foot does not absorb any radiation heat from the outside. The effect is very noticeable, with the feet remaining cooler. The gradual compression combats gravity, accelerating the flow of venous blood back to the heart. This improves blood circulation and nutrient supply, relieves the strain on the cardiovascular system and lowers the pulse rate. The energy this saves is available to you as an additional reserve during your exertions. Self-adjusting Cuff - Adapts to any size leg without slipping or constricting. AirConditioning Channel® - Is an air channelling system made of a finely woven knit mesh that continually circulates air and regulates the temperature around the foot. Located along the inside of the foot and extending up from the anatomically shaped footbed, it ensures that every movement of the foot pumps the moist, warm air out of even tight fitting shoes.
