Saucony Ladies ProGrid Jazz 13 Shoes AW10: The Jazz has long been the heritage hero of the Saucony brand in the UK, but over the last couple of seasons, the Jazz has been updated and upgraded so it stands alone as a shoe offering amazing value when considering the technology it now contains and in this lucky thirteenth version, the cosmetics are simply mind-blowing for this category of shoe. The Jazz remains a stable neutral shoe, but now offers ProGrid in the heel and SRC impact zone and technology and detailing in the upper that competing products can only dream of. This is a very consistent update from the Jazz 12, so if you liked it's predecessor, you'll love this. Saucony have improved the Airmesh upper to be lighter and more breathable and made the heel slightly more supportive. The Jazz TR is an ideal off-road shoe as it's essentially a very simple construction with ProGrid in the heel and HRC in the forefoot providing the impact protection and the traditional triangular lugged outsole giving stacks of grip. The Jazz 13 TR is robust, cushioned and durable, whilst also being very light and flexible for a trail shoe. The Jazz TR is an great choice for those runners who combine off and on road sections in one run, as it offers a great compromise of attributes. Saucony Ladies Progrid Jazz 14 Shoes Shoes Saucony Saucony Ladies ProGrid Jazz 14 Shoes: There's an element of "Back to the Future" about the latest version of the ProGrid Jazz. The 14th incarnation of Saucony's heritage model doffs it's cap at the history of the shoe while adding in technology and taking out weight. There is a return for the famous Saucony Triangular lugs which provide grip off road and cushioning on it. By using more blown rubber in the outsole, the Jazz 14 is more plush and more cushioned, but it also gives you better grip on wet road and concrete as blown rubber is more "sticky" than Carbon rubber. Also, the silhouette of the shoe is more reminiscent of the heritage model as it has a filled in midsole, giving more protection for those who land in the midfoot and more stability as heel strikers move from heel to toe. If you add this to a visibly larger SRC crash pad for impact protection, this is a great package for a great price.
