Giordana Tenax Monsoon Rain Gilet: The Monsoon Gilet is the ultimate Sleeveless Jacket for going head to head against the wettest days of the year. Whether your route takes you through early morning mist or an afternoon downpour, the Monsoon Gilet will perform consistently, keeping you dry and comfortable. It is made of soft semi-transparent Island™ material that is light weight, conforms to your body in the riding position and still offers great protection from the elements. A one-way membrane allows perspiration to escape from the inside, but keeps rain out. As a result, your body temperature is regulated, allowing you to perform at your highest level. The full zipped front closure has a rubber gripper pull tab and is backed by a protective flap to seal out wind and rain. The flap folds over at the top to protect your skin from the zipper. A tall collar protects at the neck and is fully lined in a soft mesh material for breathability. Gathered elastic in back, coupled with a scooped rear panel, forms a protective tail to block tire spray from wet pavement. A silicone injected gripper elastic holds the jacket in place throughout the duration of the ride. A large rear zippered pocket offers ample cargo space and is lined in mesh for ventilation. The zipper is reflective and has a gripper pull tab that makes access while riding easy. Italian colors on the back pocket remind you of the jacket's genuine Italian construction and the cycling knowledge that goes into each Giordana piece.
