Asics Gel Nimbus 12 (2E) Wide Fit Shoes: The latest model of this flagship cushioning shoe provides excellent comfort and stability for both neutral and under-pronators. The GEL-NIMBUS 12 features a new Guidance Line which encourages the foot to follow the most efficient line of progression. The shoes Asymmetrical Lacing Design and Personal Heel fit all work to ensure a glove-like fit. This version comes in the "2E" True Width Fitting. Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) - Asics Design Philosophy. Employs linked componentry that enhances natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Cushioning - Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Guidance Line - Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency. Asymmetric Lacing System - An anatomically correct lacing environment that reduces potential for irritation and provides improved comfort and fit. Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning - A top layer of injected Solyte provides a cushioned platform feel in the forefoot.
