The FOCUS Cayo is a must for anyone entering the carbon class of racing bikes for the first time. For 2011, the FOCUS engineers have added more future-proof technology to the frame. The result is a rugged racing bike. The bike comes equipped with a mixture of Shimano Ultegra and FSA components with DT Swiss's R1900 wheelset finishing off the package. Grip is supplied thanks to Conti's Ultra-Sport tyres and the Prologo Nago saddle supplies the comfort required. The Cayo carbon frame features many techologies. These include SSPS (Stable Stiffness Per Size), Tapered Headtube (1 1/8" diametre at the top and ultra-stiff 1.5" at the base ensuring unlimited performance with minimum weight), and the BB30 oversized bottom bracket giving extra stiffness at the BB area. This bike looks good, rides well, and gives comfort to the rider when out on the open road. The compact chainset (50/34), coupled with a cassette ratio of 11-28 means that virtually any hill can be tackled with easy. A great bike for spotive events an also at entry level road racing.
