Wiggle Super Series Bournemouth Sportive (Road) - Under 16 Routes: Sun, Sea and Cycling... Set in the seaside town of Bournemouth and set across the 3 Counties of Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. The route balances quiet roads, sublime scenery, and the challenge of the 3 quality climbs of, Win Green, Bulbarrow and Milton Abbas. You will enjoy the panoramic views of distant Somerset from Dorset's highest point Bulbarrow, the picture postcard view of Milton Abbey School Playing Fields on the way down and the model village of Milton Abbas going up the climb. Starting the convenient Bournemouth Sport Club, the route goes north towards Salisbury, over to Shaftsbury, before heading to the stunning villages, quite lanes and hills of the north Dorset Downs and home. The route takes in villages such as Rockbourne, Ebbesborne Wake, Fontwell Magna, Fiddleford, Hilton, Winterbourne Stickland, Tarrant Rushton (home of "The Cliff" ). Either route will take you on peaceful roads and through secluded villages around beautiful Cranborne Chase, tried and tested by the local Bournemouth Arrow Cycle Club New for 2011 - Early Booking Reward. Wiggle Super Series The Long One Sportive (road) - Under 16 Routes Sporting Events Wiggle Super Series Wiggle Super Series The Long One Sportive (Road) - Under 16 Routes: The Hardest sportive in the UK?... 'You judge!' 'The Long One' is no ordinary sportive; this 'Super Sportive' which is longer than normal taking place on the weekend of the longest day of the year. The 207km (129 mile) sportive with 3669 metres of climbing is not for the faint hearted. Starting from the fascinating Open Air Museum just outside Goodwood, the course takes in some of the best climbs and quietest roads the North and South Downs has to offer. With 9 major climbs and 5 other significant climbs, completing this sportive could be your seasons crowning glory! If you are looking for a shorter option, there is a 104km (66 miles) route which is equally as challenging with 1356 meters of climbing. New for 2011 - Early Booking Reward.
