Wiggle Super Series Wight Ferry Sportive (Road) - Under 16 Routes: A new innovative sportive offering you the ultimate day of riding, packed full of unique experiences, breath taking vista and stunning scenery. This 3 part sportive starts from the iconic New Forest National Park, then jumps onto the ferry taking you to the Isle of Wight to continue your cycling trip. Price includes return ferry to and from Isle of Wight. The route sweeps south through the forest through picturesque villages with wild animals grazing at the roadside before arriving at Lymington where your timing will stop. You will board the next ferry, cross the Solent and arrive on the Isle of Wight. Your time will start again as you continue the 2nd part of your sportive around the sensational Isle of Wight. The route will head clock wise around the island and is jammed packed with quiet roads and coastline vistas! In no time you will arrive back at Yarmouth. Your time will stop and you will take the ferry back to the mainland. The final leg is a short ride back through the forest to the finish! Combining 2 of the UK areas of outstanding natural beauty, along with a unique ferry trip, we believe makes this 3 part sportives one of the most enjoyable and truly special sportive the UK has to offer! Summer Cycling does not get better than this! In addition to the Epic 100 mile route, there is a Standard 70 mile route. The shorter route still does a complete lap of the Isle of Wight but has a shorter New Forest section. The Wight Ferry Sportive entry fee include your return ferry trip, all you need to do is turn up and ride... all the logistics are taken care of for you. New for 2011 - Early Booking Reward. Wiggle Super Series Mega Meon Sportive (road) - Under 16 Routes Sporting Events Wiggle Super Series Wiggle Super Series Mega Meon Sportive (Road) - Under 16 Routes: The stunning Meon Valley with its green country side and quiet lanes provides the back drop for the Mega Meon sportive. The course winds it ways through the Meon Valley up to Alton, crossing the South Downs and includes the highest hill on the Downs, Butser Hill. The Meon Valley during the summer months is one of the finest examples of English patchwork Country side. The route weaves its way through quite roads with vibrant multicoloured crop fields either side, before heading south and the final climb. The summit will reward you with views of the 'Solent, Spinnaker Tower and the Isle of Wight', Simply Breathtaking!
