Wiggle Super Series Devils Punch Bowl Sportive (Road) - U16 Routes: The last Sportive in the 2011 Wiggle Super Series is a great way to end your 2011 season, before the winter kicks in! Starting close to the easy to access Devils Punch Bowl and from which the sportive gets it name. The course weaves through the scenic roads between the North and South Downs, looping around the stunning Devils Punch Bowl before heading up to the challenging North Downs briefly and then returns South to Hollycombe Steam Collection, which is the event Head Quarters. This Sportive has been designed to be slightly shorter than our normal sportives to reflect the time of year. But is still quite a challenge, as the course includes a couple of awesome hills to get the legs pumping and amazing descents to get the heart racing. Taking in the best of the varied landscape of Hampshire, Surrey and the North Downs. Although there are a couple of hills, everything is rideable. A great end of season sportive, on very quite roads, within a stunning area! 2 different ride lengths (75 miles / 50 miles) allows you to pick your challenge for a great day out. New for 2011 - Early Booking Reward. Book at least 6 weeks before the event and you will receive a Free High5 Race Faster Pack over £12.00! Your Free High5 Race Faster Sport Nutrition pack will be given to you on the day of the event and is jammed full of all the energy product you will need to complete the event in style. 'You judge!' 'The Long One' is no ordinary sportive; this 'Super Sportive' which is longer than normal taking place on the weekend of the longest day of the year. The 207km (129 mile) sportive with 3669 metres of climbing is not for the faint hearted. Starting from the fascinating Open Air Museum just outside Goodwood, the course takes in some of the best climbs and quietest roads the North and South Downs has to offer. With 9 major climbs and 5 other significant climbs, completing this sportive could be your seasons crowning glory!
