S Bend Extension: Originally developed for Lance Armstrong, the S bend allows for more leverage on drags, with the wrists dropped. Now probably the most common extension shape, we invented the S bend at HED. Lazy S Bend Extension: Some riders find a more aerodynamic position when they relax their shoulders, raise their arms and lower their heads - hence lazy. Kick/Ski/J-Bend Extension: The classic ski-bend shape that many riders still prefer. A 33deg angle moves the wrist up into a neutral position.
